The sheer amount of resources the US has on tap is unprecedented. The fact that less is done while more taxes are collected says that this is done on purpose to create a slow demolition of the US.

The engineers have pre-made parts and equipment just for this thing. They did the same thing in ww2 off the beaches in Normandy.
