The walls are closing in on Google. Google is trying to save themselves with the usual legal tricks, but it looks like it might not work this time!

Obviously, they already calculated and projected their eventual fine and budgeted that into their calculations before they went ahead with breaking laws and fraudulent business practices. They probably made an order of magnitude more profit than the max fine could be which is why they pursued the illegal fraudulent actions. That kind of willful intentional flaunting of the law should warrant them being broken into pieces.
Punishable by fine = legal for the rich
Spot on - factored as cost of doing business. It's obviously more profitable than the fines to them. Treat them like the Bells - break them up. I am forgetting the legal definition where they're suppose to be a neutral 3rd party too, which they're obviously not.
Still fully believe they're guilt of crimes against humanity due to their tactics to quell dissent and push the injections during the poisoning of Americans and citizens of the world at large. Trials - then lots of rope, wonderful reusable rope.
How feasible would it be to have a law requiring punitive fines to be greater than or equal to the profit gained from breaking the law?
They are a disloyal to the Max. Gain your market strength via the USA. Then become loyal to India and screw America.
And gain your technology from DARPA and other government agencies.
Ah fug, I was excited until I read that the "current" DOJ is moving to bring them to justice.
Get real dude! Do you really think that Biden DOJ is going to do anything that is a positive for USA.
This kind of news is a make busy kind of story. It's meant to burn your braincycles, and distract you from what is important.
Holy corrupt century, batman. Corporate malfeasance on an entirely different level.
"Look. We're wrong. You caught us. Here's 3x the money you could possibly ask for. Now leave us alone and let us keep breaking the laws!"
This is what scared criminals do when caught by the police. "Can I just give it back?" "Can I just pay for what I stole?" "I still have the merchandise, I didn't even leave the property with it, I didn't actually steal anything [yet]!"
Hilarious to watch a corporation play against justice with the same energy as a Dindu Nuffins.
Break up the behemoths. Facebook too!
Please don't cash the check, Uncle Sam.
May your tenth of a tenth of a percent of integrity shine through.
Of course they will cash the check. It's an admission of guilt. The only question is what non monetary damages are there.
What I would like to see is nearly an END to all things we consider Googling!
We donβt need this search engine, not only will it liberate the Internet, but humanity will be better off without it π
