As a q supporter who doesn't support the bible quaran kaballah (fuck the dogmas) etc but does believe in god, I believe people need HUMILITY, and the ability to admit they were wrong.
God/universe/all will work to allow the framework for the folks to be humbled by the world around them.
I'm just a little tired by how much these old mind control books are glorified here. i Believe in god, not those retarded books written by blood suckers and grifters for the purpose of universal governance between nations. The books are political tools. God is unending all knowing omini present but also never phyiscally present, never grifting to individual humans (moses interacting with god like its his homie from next door), and never making a mockery of human life and death by wasteful actions.
If your god is responsible for mauling kids because a bald man was offended you may be a dogma follower.
Said differently When you die, god isn't gonna test to see what religion you were, god will test the purity of your heart and actions, regardless of whatever a book says, it'll be judged the utmost forms of principle mortality devoid of bullshit religious dogma. Are you egyptian Muslim Catholic Christian Jewish Zoroastrian, guess what it matters not? Your foreskin all mangled or no? It matters not. God only cares about the times you had a choice to choose evil, or good, and cares about that score specifically, devoid of any books particular dogmas. You can't his behind a "its okay to kill a nonbeleiver" because thats a bullshit dogma lie used for political gain back in the day. We need to as individuals understand that it is our objective mortality alone being judged, not its subjective connections to other people or rules.
Most of the reiligious books could be summarized as "mind control for an earlier generation"

But God's Word exists within the Bible. and Christians have come out on top again and again, proving that Christianity is not a religion, but pure spirituality. If you can't recognize the legitimacy of the Bible, you are a spiritual infant.
I really wonder how many people have actually read the bible front to back. Its mostly repetitive drivel. Seriously, its the OG mkultra. Psalms are the OG media industry music. Life is a tree, producing fruits on a cyclic nature for you to consume, the bible is but an already harvested apple speckled with rot, we can try to convince others that the good parts are still good, but it is better to consume fresh fruit, which is essentially your living word of god, not ancient polticial control movitivated interpretations of the word of god. Dont be at the concert focusing on your phone which is just recording a blemished degraded video of the actual concert you are at. Instead -be- at the concert and enjoy it for what it is.
your perspective is valid to a certain degree, but i am telling you: the scriptures are pure spiritual manuals. focusing on the politics of their origin speaks to your lack of spiritual understanding.
oh i did focus on that, for years. I was an atheist who studied the origins of the Bible, and used my findings to drive people away from it. i had found what you are describing, and was convinced that the purpose of the Bible was to be misleading.
it took me years and years and miracle after miracle to see past that.
let me save you some time. believe the Bible. pray humbly and sincerely.
i have other favourite spiritual texts, too. but all they do is clarify the Bible. and if they are at all at odds with the Bible, I assume either that I have misunderstood one of the two, or that the other is not real spiritual info.
but nothing has been more useful to the human race than scripture. do you think that is the result of a blunder by some ancient tyrant?
The thing that really drove me to see the Bible how I do was, ironically, listening to atheist philosophy.
It wasn’t wrong on a lot of things, of course, or no one would ever listen to it, but on others I kept noticing shifting sands…
What they did manage to point me at were the blind spots of different sections of the church, and different things that are very difficult for people that have to be wrestled with, which just drove me back to scripture.
I am by no means an expert. (…ugh. no pun intended), but the scripture makes rational sense now (except, oddly enough, for Paul, who is extremely difficult to understand, and also a favorite citation of a lot of people who like to take him at low context face value), and constantly turns over new jewels when I read it. Hopefully one day my habits will be better built to it.

That is why church and state are separate. God is not lost. God IS. We allow or not. Free will. There is no being that needs to be found. To Be or Not to Be.
