My God! Keeps saying the same thing over and over. Could have been written in three sentences.
Tim Allen cucked out in Last Man Standing.
I’ll keep an open mind, but most likely this is an attempt to use someone they know they can keep in line while modestly attempting to appeal to the “anti-woke” crowd.
In fact it’s quite likely as more wokes go broke, that we will start seeing “anti-woke” as a meaningless marketing term to attract viewers while still shoving The Message.
He did? I wasn’t an avid watcher, but most of what I saw seemed O.K.
It started off fine, but at some point when it moved from ABC to Fox (after ABC dumped it for political reasons) Tim Allen had some interviews where he was asked about whether he or his character in the show were Trump supporters, and the way he answered the question was hedged, but anti-Trump leaning.
Something like “Mike Baxter (his character) might have been the type to vote for Trump, but he’s always learning” or something.
And then he immediately defended himself by saying that Mike Baxter is just his character that he plays, and that he himself doesn’t hold those views.
He also eventually said they were not writing political jokes into the show anymore, and that his conservative character that he played was like a college degree’d Archie Bunker (I.e. a racist bigot)
The show itself is still funny to watch, but definitely not anti-woke beyond some surface level pandering most of the time.
Sounds cucked to me.
How many times can you say the same thing? Either it’s AI or someone who gets paid by the word. Waste of space and time article.
CBS also lead the way with survivor, in the early 2000s. These people only care about making $
Noin-woke TV show? Yeah that's a bunch if bullshit.
Forget that. Start an All-Male-Channel. No women commentary. No Political correctness. Just relaxed and enjoyable Male Entertainment.
Bring back The Man Show
With Jimmy Kimmel? nah
It is funny how fast Kimmel distanced himself once he had a mainstream gig... Says a lot...
Today, it would be called the Misogynistic Person show. 😂
This used to be a thing. Remember TNN/SpikeTV?

Bound to fail. Will never achieve an ROI. They don't know how to control costs in Hollywood.
I was going to say…why do you need 8 billion dollars to produce a tv sitcom.
I don't think so Tim. ;)
what happened to the newer show they did together on the history channel? was it successful or did it fizzle?
I jopr thid works out. These two could do a great job with it of allowed to improv some! As for the article sounding like AI, I see that. Its just going to take a while for creators to learn how to keep the actual personal touch in their products. And to stop using AI narrators too, that pronounce things all wrong. I think actual humans narrating, is going to be valued considerably.
