Because he's the one who posted it? If someone charges into a movie theater and yells fire and you grab him and ask where the fire is and he says, I was just kidding, should you keep looking for a fire?
Well, if the guy who posted the info is now back pedaling and saying it was 'Just a joke everybody!' Shouldn't we first verify that he is not, in fact, related to or friends with any juror? Or, a friend of someone who is related to a juror? I'm not ready to dismiss his claim without further investigation.
Re the yelling fire in the theater, if you later find that there was a full gallon of gas and a lighter found in the men's restroom after you evacuated everybody, you'd wish you got the guy's ID before letting him run out of the place!
They HAVE to know the verdict will be overturned on appeal. As such, they may be looking dor a way out that doesn’t make them look like the corrupt, biased POS's that they are.
Something like this would allow them to say PDJT got off on a technicality (as it would necessitate a mistrial and a re-trial [which they'd likely not do]) rather than have the verdict get overturned - for any of the MANY wrongs/errors/illegalities - on appeal.
That would be awesome if the 'alleged cousin of a juror' who posted the stupid comment ends up derailing the conviction by triggering a mistrial.
The guy who posted it already came out and said he was shitposting.
Sauce?
Just search his name on any browser. The guy has been on podcasts already talking about it, he talked to Hannity on the phone.
And we should believe him, because?

They did verify the guy, he's never met any of the jurors.
All they were after was a talking point. They got that. Now they want to spend their money before Trump gets elected.
With Zero proof of any crime by Trump, the 'guilty' verdicts were enough to know every single juror was Bought off before it started.
Uh-oh. Now the jurors are going to have to pay back their bribe money.

This is just as fishy as the original trial.
