Maybe 1000 or 2000 years from now everything turns to dust again since we love self destruction so much, and the future people have to dig up and try to figure us out all over again. USB drives, hard drives, discs, none of those things will work and already disintegrated. Future may have to rely on actual photos if there are any left. Maybe better if leave text and images behind in the rocks and caves.
I like archeology for that reason. Think about it. We think we are so high tech with all our "advancements" yet what will be left of our homes or places of work a 1,000 years from now? Plastics and bricks? Our descendants will think we lived in our basements. Wood and metal stuff will be gone. How long will plactics be found? Will game pieces were somehow religous artifacts. Our landscaping rocks considered confusioning.
Somehow, I don't believe what people find will tell them much about who we truly are.
Reread the 1984 quote and then look at these photos.
Tell me what Orwell said hasn't already happened in spades ... This is only one example, of hundreds or more that don't align with the official narrative.
He hated the commies for what they did in the Spanish Civil War. They fought their allies, the socialists and anarchists as they were not left wing enough to be considered true revolutionaries, never mind that the socialists and anarchists were winning the war against the falangists.
He went on to say that the communists were very fond of denouncing anyone who did not toe the line on correct thinking, the worst ones for doing that were the communist women. The communists lost that war by the usual trick, divide and rule.
Yup

Not entirely sure what your point is, ngl. Mudflood?
The ongoing and repeated obfuscation of history...
This endless "present" has to stop and when it does--it will be shocking to a whole lot of people, still!.
Orwell was not warning us, but actually providing the totalitarians with instructions on how to put the thumb on his countrymen.
Orwell was one of them, so don't think of him as a good guy.

Read Homage to Catalonia.
