I think the sides are pretty well set. The other side won't care if been cheated to get in. If trumpnis going to stop the Russian Ukraine thing before he takes office he will have to win and donit prior to Jan 20th.
With almost everyone expecting a "change of batter" to replace Biden at the last minute, my brain keeps asking, "What do they gain by doing it?" The whole world will see it as a cheap trick as they see Biden crumbling and they lose a mountain of Dem support. Keep him in will, at least, garner some of the Dem loyality vote. However, the democrat organization is like a wounded animal and there is no way to predict how they will react.
They're going to stick with Biden as an excuse for losing the election this year. They're going to say that "we lost because of Biden", not that we win because there's more of us voting for Trump. They're going to blame losing on Biden. That's why I don't think he'll be replaced. Ds are looking at 2028 already I feel like

Many states will oppose this move and protest in various ways. Replacement may not get on all the ballots. It could be significant.
Ballot presence aside, the change of candidate will cost votes, there is no way that a replacement candidate will get more votes than a viable original candidate.
Of course, a replacement might get more votes than a corpse, but the results will likely be lower enough results than a "normal" candidate would typically get that it is pointless to do.
They may just drag Joe across the line and go with plan "B" which is sabotage, traps, barriers and obstruction.
