You know, it may not just be Whole Foods. I purchased bananas from Safeway and it did not taste like a banana nor did it look like one on the inside. I threw the whole bunch away. These assholes, Gates, Schwab and the rest, are determined to control our food supply and feed us either synthetic crap or bugs! The death penalty after a military tribunal would be too good for them!

Just another example of how the FDA does not protect us.

I was watching a video discussing the fact that the Dept. of Defense provides school lunches, and they happened to mention that a whole container of bananas (allegedly sent to several/many schools) had to be returned because they were inedible. Hmmmm...

Has nothing to do with this thread, but yet another video about school lunches claimed that an individual sent several lunch samples to a lab, and they all came back testing positive for atrazine...an herbicide that causes sex switching in animals...

Apeeled fruit is bizarre! The skin of a lemon for instance, does cit like it is polmerized! And if you put Apeel fruit in a blender... it ain't your grandma's pureed fruit I guarantee... and by the way there are plastic rice grains in the bags of rice.

In 2010, a letter to employees from CEO John Mackey revealed the company's new Team Member Healthy Discount Incentive Program, in which they could qualify for up to a 30 percent discount (instead of the regular 20 percent) if their BMI, blood pressure, and cholesterol were low enough, and if they were also a non-nicotine user. All this is determined by bi-annual blood work and heath checks, and the discount is reassessed if any of those slip, but Mackey goes on to say that this program should be "empowering and fun for Team Members who enjoy a challenge." Empowering is probably the last word we'd choose to describe this cringe-worthy "incentive" that actually benefits the company by lowering its health care costs, but at least the program is voluntary.
