This summer is nothing compared to the summer of 2012. I remember the Midwest had multiple weeks in the 100s with some areas seeing 113 degrees. That still doesn't touch what happened in the 1930s.
We keep getting Severe Weather warnings because of the temperature, with a high of 100. First, we're in Texas so 100 is expected. Second, I don't recall these warnings last year with all the days from 105-109!
But, people have short memories...
PNW been mild if not chilly in some parts most days still, short dips in water only then lay out to thaw out a bit. lol Great for hiking though, well... if you dont mind light rain and drizzle.
I'm in Minnesota and the weather this summer has been the drizzling shits.
Mild and rainy damn near every day. Doesn't even feel like summer.
The wife and I spent most of the day going to our local, independent nursery getting plants and flowers, then planting and working in the yard. It didn't even crack 75 degrees and it's almost July.
I would gladly welcome "the hottest summer on record". Maybe I'll start burning styrofoam tonight.
And the CNN mods just said that of 2023 at the debate
People that do not want to learn or know are the easiest to control.
Ouch, 1930s was a scorcher!
134f??? NO THANKS.
Death valley probably
It's comms I guess.
The cabal is feeling the heat.
The world population is slowly awakening to them.

2012 definitely sucked. At least they’d gotten rid of the old 1980s metal seatbelt buckles. Can you imagine?
On the other hand, how much tougher would our young people be now if they still had to experience … the terror of buckling up. Every. Day. Of. Summer.

An inconvenient truth.
Minnesota is having the BEST summer so far. It's been cool the whole time.
Been getting lots of rain and my grass is nice and green.
Couldn't have asked for a better summer, honestly.

Climate change has been hurting us for longer than we even realized!
Kinda funny, 9 months later I was born.
