Mel Gibson Writes Open Letter in Support to Archbishop Viganò: Excommunication by Pope Francis "Is Like a Badge of Honor" | The ...
Actor and film director Mel Gibson sent a letter of encouragement to Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò after Red Pope Francis excommunicated him last week.
Every time Mel speaks I like the guy a little bit more.
Lol... telling It like it is....
Good for Mel.
And Vigano who I think is a sincere man.
It is indeed a Badge of Honor! ✝️

AMAZING!
Actual integrity in hollywood!!!!!!
Excommunication is not a badge of honor. He’s excommunicated for saying there is no Pope. Like him or not there is a Pope and the media twists his words nearly as often as they twisted 45’s words.
This is actually quite sad. What many of you may not know is that Vigano covered for McCarrick but tried to lay the blame on the Pope. Pure projection. I appreciate Vigano calling out the Freemasons but he went and jumped the shark. I don’t expect this anti-Catholic heavy forum to understand or take kindly to my post but it’s the truth.
A YT channel called Reason and Theology does a good job explaining all of this. While Vigano is right some of the time, he is not right to say there isn’t a Pope. There is.
You're insane.
This so called Pope is no Catholic.
You can't be Catholic and believe there is no Pope.
This Pope is no Catholic.
Yeah. Well, that's like, your opinion, man (not about whether or not there's a Pope, but about whether or not it's a badge of honor to be excommunicated by said Pope).
Mel is a nouveau Protestant. Submission to authority only when you agree with them is just self worship with extra steps. Own your pope, Catholics. Or welcome to Protestantism. Lol
Wild to me how many people are comfortable on an intellectual, logical level with simultaneously calling themselves Catholic while wholesale rejecting submission to the earthly authority which God has given us.
In what way is one Catholic at that point? Doesn't respect authority, rejects their place in the hierarchy, thinks there is no Pope, believes that the solution is schism from the Church with an unbroken lineage starting with Saint Peter, etc.
Like, at least have the decency to become Eastern Orthodox or something. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
Yup 💯
Michael Lofton the Pope-splainer, Vatican paid modernist? That’s where you get your Catholic news?
Oh no Michael says there is a Pope 😂
Is there not a Pope?
In the same way, we can say "there is no President" and we wouldn't be wrong.
The difference is that God didn't personally assure us that the Gates of Hell will not prevail against our country.
Biden is certainly not president of anything, for sure, but Francis is Pope and the only other option is "Catholicism was fake and gay this whole time". There is no Catholic option to reject Pope Francis.
