We need to see ballistics on the headshot against Cory. A shot from 300+ yards from the water tower isnt going to come from an AR with .556 ammo. Its probably gonna be a .308 round from a typical military issue sniper rifle. Prove there was a second shooter who killed Cory and everything unravels. A different caliber will prove it.

In the town where I grew up, Eastman Chemical (a major producer of plastics) is near Holsten Glass, which is near the Holsten Army Ammunition Plant. So if someone from Eastman was shot, should we automatically assume that it was some huge conspiracy having to do with the military? Sorry, no.

The industry is enormous, and unless he had a really high up position in a well-known company, saying he was a fire fighter is a lot more impressive. It garners more of an emotional response. Plus, it might have been a large part of his life. True, they could have mentioned his job, but these stories want to tug on our heartstrings.
