Not unusual unless they are strong and at shallow depth. Most are weak and deep. Check the whole map. Its not unusual anywhere in the pacific.
There is a range of depths. from 0.0km to 32 km. Many, if not most are less than 1-2 km deep.
I check this site daily. This is a huge number in any one spot. (Also high is total # of 74 worldwide). There's often less than this around the world in any one given 24-hour period. I'm no expert, that's for sure. But - like I said, I check this daily and this is highly unusual for what I've seen.

I’m not an expert! They monitor earthquakes at all volcanoes in the world and earthquakes elsewhere.
This site monitors the USA. I believe there’s been earthquakes at Mount Saint Helens and another on in the north western region.

I don't think earthquakes are the problem in Hawaii. There is a LARGE roman candle that could trigger a massive landslide which could cause a large tsumani that would wipe out the other islands and a large part of the West coast!
Just checked again...39 earthquakes now within 5-9km of volcano and with depths ranging from 0.0km to 5km.
Volcanic activity? They reportedly been growing more active across the world.
