I worry that the mail in ballots will still be a big problem in NV. Every voter is automatically sent one or two or three or so of them (I received three last presidential election but I voted in person and did not have to surrender my mail in ballots.)
That site may be cancer. I kept getting a full screen advertisement popup that looked to be trying to tell me there was a virus or security problem for my device. Y'all be careful to ignore and close if you get served a similar ad trying to get people to install malware disguised as antivirus.
I might have been duped. I saw lots of articles that the members and secretary support Trump but I also found that the union itself not supporting him.
I've never heard anything about this. A quick search on this, and there is no mention of any endorsement from the culinary union. The only mention they have is that they commented on Biden's resignation.
It sucks that people can be so easily swayed into doing what is best. If they onky had half a brain they would see that trump isn't a king but a man who trust God and wants to serve. Service is leadership. Being in charge or authority will never define leadership. Only service can.
Exactly. And on a good Sunday night when I bartended alone I made rent money in tips. Servers didn't get minimum wage then, I assume that's still the same, so I only claimed enough tips to meet minimum wage at that time. The rest of my EARNINGS went to pay bills and tuition
Doesn't matter whether the union endorses him or not, no tax on tips will win Nevada. Many many people in this state work jobs that get tips, and everyone hates the taxation of them. I know people that quit their jobs because of it. Many of the casinos force dealers to pool the tips then they are divided equally, as it makes the bookkeeping easier. A nice, friendly, competent dealer has to pool their tips so a rude, incompetent dealer actually makes some. I suspect everyone involved in gaming will vote for Trump because of this, whether their union endorses him or not.
Yes, and that is only the culinary workers union. Think of all the people that deal cards and serve cocktails that are not part of that union. Not sure if the culinary workers in Reno are unionized, I don't believe they are.
NO TAX on TIPS is the open door to NO income tax. Gently gently catchee monkey!
I love how we are gently nudging toward that.
nudging?? the hell with that lets push it over the edge.....
Howls. I like the way you go at it.
once passed if I do any work for someone, I will tell them I only work for tips. kek

We still have several months so we might see no mail in all through the whole U.S yet.
I hope you're right! The criminals in Carson City codified universal mail in ballots after the last presidential election.
We can always hope.
Thanks for the article OP.

Thank you again.

Hmm…
Something fishy going on. I just read this article saying that they actually support Kamala and not Trump.

Anon, you need to vet your sources more.

Thank you. I looked and you are right. There's a lot of talks but the union themselves did not seem to approve.

What a man serves he loves.
Amen.
They really just need to get rid of tipping and make these places actually pay their employees.
People can tip, but yes, they need to pay their employees.
I may have been a youngun in college when I bartended my way to a degree, but I never exercised full transparency with my lifeblood, tips
Good girl. I know host of people in college days working in restaurants and said the tips were what they used to buy their books and things.
Exactly. And on a good Sunday night when I bartended alone I made rent money in tips. Servers didn't get minimum wage then, I assume that's still the same, so I only claimed enough tips to meet minimum wage at that time. The rest of my EARNINGS went to pay bills and tuition
Yes it is great to do that. I like to see no tax on tips.

That's what the news are saying. People will walk the walk and don't care what the union said.

Oh, I didn't know about the card dealers and cocktail people. Good thought.
