His body language would say that he absolutely said he's not a Christian. He was shaking his head in a "no" gesture while saying it.

I was confused about that as well. President Trump's gesturing his hand towards his body as he says "I'm (a/not) Christian", which I would take as him including himself in the categorization, so I take it he meant to say "a"

I'm 99% sure he slipped in "I'm a Christian" but it SOUNDED off, like "not"... but he meant to say "I'm a Christian".. in the context of saying "I love you Christians".
