I’m honestly confused about what to think about Venezuela.
I do know that they went from being one of the richest nations in the world to a piece of shit commie hell hole thanks to Mario and Chavez in the space of 5 years.
I am also confused. Trouble is, while socialism doesn't work, the test isn't fair for Venezuela, because they get hammered by sanctions. It's no wonder their oil extraction is below what it could be - no parts for machines, no access to markets etc.
And then the alternatives are almost always CIA cutouts who will get the oil ok, and sell it, but still little for the small guy. They either have socialist thugs who are unable to generate money or asset strippers for globohomo. I liked Hinkle when I first saw him. Mostly on his anti-Ukraine stuff. I kind of lumped him in with Gonzalo Lira and the Duran guys. Hinkle went off the deep end and I quit keeping up with him.
