And I work remote now. The one's I've met online showing up in the workforce lately haven't been particularly exceptional, but also not too out of the norm.
That said, I'm in IT, so there's a certain level of skill necessary and it also attracts a fair amount of geeks.

Between woke engineers who spend more time looking for triggering language in existing documentation to purge, instead of actually producing something, and entitled twits who want to quickly earn more than experienced, productive people but can't be bothered to listen and learn (then blame everyone else for their errors), to those who spend all their workday chatting in corporate diversity groups. Sigh.
