I've harvested deer at over 120 yards with iron sites... 140 yards isn't that impressive for a novice in the prone position with something solid to steady the rifle on.

He knew the jig would soon be up and that the whole assassination mission was at risk. He made a spur-of-the-moment decision to fire himself and he missed killing his target because God intervened. Then several other shots came from different distances and directions indicating that this was a planned assassination involving several shooters. The patsy stuck his head up above the roof line to see what was going on and he took a fatal round to his head. They whisked him away immediately and the FBI hosed down the roof.
I think we will eventually see that the hit was ordered by the Bidens/Obamas/Clintons and that it was carried out by the CIA, FBI, USSS and others. The MSM couldn't drop the story fast enough and run to the next shiny object (Kamala's new running mate).

I don't hunt, but I can routinely get in the bullseye circles at 200 yards on my range. I only use iron sights.

Only a rank amateur would even go there without a scoped rifle. The kid probably didn't even know how to zero a rifle scoped or open sights.
probably has more to do with the water tower behind him where one of the other shooters probably was and SS did not have covered or obstructed.
