Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I think I found A Q drop post 1630 Sean hannity with Trump interview ended at 16:30min's look it up wow
Holy smoke! Now they are claiming Kamabla lowered insulin prices!!!
Massive detrans redpill here: https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1536422533230206976.html
This is my deal... nobody thinks CFB has anything to do, with anything! Oh but it does.
Trump is connected to football. He owned a team back in the 80's. Hershal Walker from the GA Bulldawgs played on his team! They had UGA X= Que ( tyvm anon who pointed that out). It all connects.
I had forgotten that Trump owned a team. He and Hershal Walker are good friends too. Yes they chewed up Clemson and spit them out. I’m in Tiger territory myself. When Dabo made the decision he made with the stickers going on the helmets for BLM I stopped watching . They have went down hill ever since.
I haven't looked into this,, but being a hmmmm. Does nobody think it's interesting that the GA Bulldawgs just beat the snot out of Clemson and the next team Clemson is supposed to play is... drum roll... App State!? Asking for a fren
Don’t look up!

For those with loved ones hooked on drugs like heroin, don't you wish you can just lock them up and total detox and rehab for at least a year until they're back to normal?
I lost my 59 y.o brother in law to heroin/fentanyl last week and there was nothing his family could do about it. He had been addicted for 40 years and being in NY/NJ area you cannot force someone to quit or rehab....how he survived that long must be part of God's grace and second chances because most I know don't live past 30. He really blew all the chances God gave him. He even won the lottery a couple of times. How blessed was he, right?
Anyway, in PA you CAN force your loved ones to rehab and quit drugs. Some useful info for anyone who needs it. Save your children before it's too late!!
God bless ya'll
Tales from a very small town. This weekend at our little but popular general store, where everyone knows everybody else, 3 latino men come in, burly tatooed all over, wearing chains, speaking spanish, there was one neighbor sitting at the picnic table having a slice,I know he always carries. I had bought my stuff but decided to stay in the store, we made eye contact, the neighbor and I, he took his phone out, and in a matter of 5 minutes 3 other guys walked in, from the town. the lady who owns the store nodded to me when the 3 other locals walked in, I waited outside, it was a silent show of force, the latins left quietly. If she had been alone, I know she has a glock and a rifle under the counter, but if trouble had started she would have been outnumbered. We take care of our own, the guys were in a car with Conn. plates, New Haven and Springfield Ma. are where all of the drugs are coming into Vermont, the men who came to that store stuck out like flies in rice, I could tell she was scared. None of us said a word to each other, it was understood that no trouble would happen on that day.
Thank you Father for taking care of our Fren and the folks at the general store. ❤️🥰
God bless you all. God bless you all. I like how everyone wasted no time in having her back. It sounds like a movie scene. It should be an example to all of us, though I know we’re built like that. We’re showing the normies how it should be done.
I'm glad you guys were there. This is interesting..so the drug cartels are in CT and MA because their target customers are the Ivy league college students. This goes deeper than meets the eye I bet!
God bless you all. Glad it went this way!
I'm standing there watching them and wondering what a 74 year old 4 11 woman could do, I decided the fellow eating his pizza slice could shoot while I threw cans and grab the cans of RAID, gosh the scenarios that run through your head, lol.
This is exactly why I love living in a small town too! We don't look for trouble around here, but we will absolutely nip it in the bud if it tries to rear its ugly head in our small town too. Thanks for sharing the good news and having each other's backs!
…and then bury the evidence and say “I didn’t see nuffin’.”
I went to a beautiful beach in the Gulf for vacation and got to see 14-20 blackhawks land in unison in a rural field in Alabama. I have never felt more adrenaline!
Watched The Magic Pill on Tubi recently and could hardly believe the ads. Some drug for HIV/AIDS glamorizing the lifestyles of those who contract it. Then one for something like a razor, but it shows the dad shaving his leg to teach the young girl how to shave. Ugh.
Show itself was good, though. Various diseases essentially cured or effectively treated by low carb/grain diet. Time to invert the food pyramid! I also found a new word: nhangining.
“ It's not even food. It's "nhangining." "Nhangining". meaning "non-edible."”
commercials are for muting, getting a snack or going to the toilet
Even muted it was offensive. Remember when magazine racks had modesty covers? Need that tv equivalent lol
It's one thing to be obsessed with make up and expensive brands and another to look presentable as a form of respect for yourself, other parties, and in special occasions. That's like saying men shouldn't groom or put gel on their hair or wear expensive leather shoes and suits. We should all just walk around in robes and sandals and cover our hairs like muslims with such mentality.
Geez.. trolling much??
These people never go away. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
You're back again?.... eesh
oh come on, I don't wear anything close to make up day to day, but if I am going to a wedding or a special occassion I sure do like to fluff up a bit, it's fun to feel pretty sometimes. I do it for me.
Personally, I find naturally aged Women without make-up, more attractive. All is fair in the battlefield of romance and natural selection. Wouldn't it make sense that women bonded together and built their own Make-Up Companies? Let the profits trickle back into their coffers.

Christopher Lasch - what an interesting thinker. It seems like he was talking about so many of the same things we are seeing and talking about today.
20c American intellectual history really is a treasure trove. So many of these people were sort of proto-autists, in the days before the internet when anyone with an intellectual bent had to write letters, talk on the phone, and travel to libraries.
...those where the days my friend...
Speaking of 20c American intellectual history - I saw "Arguing the World" at a film festival several years ago. It found it riveting, and vital to understanding the foundations of all 20c American political movements:
