IMHO, the selection of the most powerful and responsible person (the president) should not be done by the idiots, imbeciles and morons. Think of it as this way. In a company where the staff is hiring people not everyone gets the chance to sit in the interview panel. Because it takes certain ability to conduct interviews, assess people's skills being interviewed and judgemental skills. Just like how every migrant is required to take the citizenship test before getting qualified as a citizen, it might be a good idea for a registered voter to also take a test on the constitutional values, how the Congress works, basic knowledge of the election process, etc before being eligible to vote. A mandatory selection of a reason to choose a particular candidate as well as comments would be required when a voter chooses a candidate. An independent panel can process these selections and decide whether to accept the vote or reject.
Of course such measures can also backfire from the thinking angle of Democrats with brainwashed narrative about Trump (you know the whole "convicted felon", "nazi", "insurrectionist", etc.) and thought of anyone still choosing to vote for Trump being an idiot and not eligible to vote. Perhaps that's the reason for simple "anyone can vote" route that our founding fathers put forth.
How about returning voting for Senators to the State Governments?
I could go on but you get the idea. Our voting power as citizens has been diluted over the years, up to now where (((they))) want to let illegals to vote against us.
I can not wait for this movie to reach the next plot twist.
so bring back jim crow laws? literacy testing for all? or maybe just have a committee of government or party appointed elites who will determine who shall be able to be president? you know, kind of like it already is...
maybe lets not allow citizens to vote, because they might have their own national interests in mind and not the interests of the rest of the world. perhaps people from around the globe should be able to appoint the president of the united states instead of these stupid americans. these citizens should just shut up, pay their taxes and remain the slaves to the global elite that they are. is that your idea?
yes, it makes me angry that someone that supposedly believes in the Great Awakening starts getting close to these ridiculous ideas. and for the less intelligent that are reading this, no, I am not looking to have these things.
And it makes me angry that someone who supposedly believes in the Great Awakening doesn't even consider the idea of having a bit more scrutiny into who has the right to vote, or at least to re-evaluate how voting works.
Or do you subscribe to the globalist idea that everyone is born equal? if nothing else the last 4 years made it really clear the answer to that, the amount of absolutely retarded people is this world is far above what most of us could even imagine; Do you still trust them to make a critical choice that affects all?
He's saying that maybe not everyone, including citizens (but ONLY citizens) should have the right to vote, and I agree.
Is it an easy thing to implement? absolutely not! what would be the criteria? who gets to decide the ones that match the criteria?
But if we don't start at least considering these things now, things are NEVER going to significantly change..
Here's an idea that I just made up:
Every citizen gets to vote, but the votes do not weight the same
People who have proven themselves to be able administrators, great public servants (real servants not the vermin we have today), community pillars and overall great achievers can apply for a greater vote weight
These petitions get evaluated by a particular group, say like a city council, which will serve for, at the most, 2 election cycles before being rotated entirely (could be elected officials themselves), and individuals cannot serve again in that capacity for at least 10 years after their term ends
The individuals with greater vote weights need to constantly prove themselves ,every say 2 or 3 elections they get re-evaluated, if they are found not to be under the MERIT defined guidelines their vote weight starts going back down.
In my mind something like this could work, and there's no excuse, everyone (citizens) gets a vote, but you want your vote to count more? then it's up to you.
But something MUST be done... we cannot be held hostage by the retards.
gee, I wonder where the term "all men are created equal" comes from. seems to me what you are suggesting is more a marxist or fascist form of government. once the wrong people have more weight in their vote, then we have a similar situation to what we have today. what would be the next step? eliminate the stupid? who is to judge who is stupid and who is not? disagree completely with you mindset on this issue.
Big difference, I'll leave it to you to figure it out.
And again, something must be done, and it's not easy, if the higher weight is based on merit it'd absolutely NOT be a similar situation that we have today
Specially considering what we have today is pretty much selection, not election.
Their = Possessive for they, what you're looking for is "THERE"
With that out of the way, no, I'm not
And I'm having difficulty seeing how establishing a weighted voting system based on merit, in which anyone, From a big company CEO down to local mom & pop grocery store owners or any equivalent entrepreneurial efforts could apply, would equate to establishing Aristocracy.
If anything that kind of thing would only motivate individuals who are pretty capable, but just a bit lazy, to make more of an effort, and contribute more.
You're deeply in the 8 or 80 mindset, either is every retarded welfare user can vote or ARISTOCRACY!!!!!!111!!one
No, there's plenty of room in-between to find a way to make it right, we are not born equal, period, differences in intellect and overall capacity are absurd.
If you had a business would you pick any idiot from the streets to run it or make a very careful selection to decide who would be the best? so why being able to help decide the fate of a nation be any different?
thanks for the catch on their/ there, was ignorant of me to make such a mistake. makes me look bad, and am sure puts you in the frame of mind that i am not bright enough to make an argument intelligently.
how about this then, if only property owners can vote, maybe only property owners can serve in the military by draft.
all others strictly on a volunteer basis.
what exactly was the aristocracy back in the day if not landed nobles and the upper class.
in your mindset, it would seem tenant farmers and people that rent their (not there) domiciles would not have their voices heard at the polls, correct?
the poor schmucks that work for someone at minimum wage or for just a salary could not vote unless they are gifted property or struggle real hard to get their own place.
would they be able to vote while the bank owns the mortgage on what ever property they do buy?
the founding fathers considered what you are talking about and found it lacking. perhaps you would also prefer counting those that do not own property or businesses at 1/5th the value of real americans that own something?
what would you consider the value of people like those that own blackrock, vanguard and alphabet?
Who said all men are created equal? (I know, it's in the Declaration) but where else did you get that idea? I believe God loves us all and wants each one of us to seek Him and have the opportunity to have a relationship with Him, but clearly, we are not equal. I am not equal to LeBron or MJ when it comes to basketball. I'm not equal to Trump when it comes to business acumen. Etc. etc.
I have also concluded that we SHOULD have some sort of system in place for voters so that those who are a drain on society don't keep voting for their own self interests. When there are people who are 4th generation welfare recipients and only know that lifestyle, when there are 21 year olds who haven't even worked or paid into the system but are working very hard to get on SS disability, when there are disability frauds who can easily work but instead bilk the system and don't contribute one iota to the well being of society, why should they - and illegals - have the opportunity to determine the outcome of a presidential election? And what about all the uninformed? Those, who, by choice, know nothing. (I say by choice because this is the internet age and knowledge is at their fingertips.) For instance, those who still believe the 'very fine people,' lie, or that T is racist, or Biden did great things or that we are a 'democracy' or have never even heard of the Constitution, let alone know what it is. No. I no longer believe everyone should have the right to make those important decisions.
Ha! I would dearly love it if most voters had national interests at heart. It seems most are selfishly oriented in thinking - what are you going to do for ME?
I am referring to those brainwashed idiots. Look beyond this tiny frog pond. There is a huge number of citizens, even well settled locals who have been thoroughly brainwashed by the MSM. I have attended group discussions with such people, who are advocating even non-citizens to have the rights to vote.
Great awakening goes far beyond being a local citizen. This is a global war against evil cabal. Trump may appear as local white/orange American pleasing to the citizens of US, but his strategy goes worldwide and his fight is against those who are always trying to control us.
it sure is a global war. having non citizens vote is a moronic idea which makes us citizens noting more than slaves to the globalist hierarchy. but we are still supposed to be of the people, by the people and for the people. lets not make room for a new aristocracy. our founding fathers would be rolling in their graves at the thought of giving up this great republic to such ideas.
She is a typical example of why immigrants should not be allowed anywhere near public office until they are at least the 5th generation and have both demonstrated loyalty and have contributed to improving the country.
After the 5th generation, then they should be made a citizen with voting rights on reaching their 18th birthday. Any member of this family up to this point who commits a serious crime should result in the deportation of the entire family. As they would be on probation.
This is how you would make them both integrate and behave in our high trust civilised societies.
Her father was a Marxist professor who hated America. Why would anyone expect her to be any different?
She should not have been allowed to even apply for her previous DA job. That job was stolen from a more competent American citizen. Now she is being considered for the highest position of the country.

I don't believe our FF did put that forth. There were qualifications for voting. Being a landowner was one, and being male was another.
How about just land owners voting?
How about no government workers voting?
How about eliminating unions from government?
How about returning voting for Senators to the State Governments?
I could go on but you get the idea. Our voting power as citizens has been diluted over the years, up to now where (((they))) want to let illegals to vote against us.

Repeal the 19th.
LMAO just came to say exactly this.
