One of the things that picks me up when I’m discouraged is going back and reading, or watching President Kennedy’s speeches. His speech about the state of the space race given at Rice University in 1962 perfectly captures the spirit and potential of the United States and its people.
I firmly believe the best is yet to come and we will revive that spirit he describes. Let me leave you with one of my favorite lines from that speech:
We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win, and the others. . .
Always Think in terms of: What CAN I DO for mankind...

"That Others May Live"... meaning giving you're life for another to rescue or help in some way...or another...
I was at Hahn from ‘84 to ‘88, went TDY to Bitburg and Spangdahlem a couple times. I loved my time in the Air Force, I especially miss the camaraderie, even after all these years.
After attending a small birthday gathering with, it turned out, all flaming dems, I feel this too❤ Very grateful to have this pocket of sanity... Or at least awareness🐸
💥ONE DAY can change the world.....👀 I am old enough to remember the fall of the Berlin Wall. The entire world changed in one day. Nobody really was expecting it. Basically forty years of the cold war ended in one day. I have solace knowing this can all end in one day. Absolutely, under the right circumstances, this can all change in one day. Remember this when you get down.,🙏🙏🙏 and pray a lot.
The brave new world that we will live in is unimaginable even by us that are curious! The possibilities are endless! They had us so brainwashed that only a few can forsee how glorious our existence can be when this millennial old system is finally vanquished!
