That is only one type of control group. There are at least three -- one of which is completely satisfied by this scenario.
Types of Control Groups:
Placebo Control Group: Receives an inert treatment (like a sugar pill), which looks identical to the actual treatment but has no therapeutic effect. This helps to measure the placebo effect.
Active Control Group: Receives an existing, standard treatment for the condition. This is used when it would be unethical to give a placebo because an effective treatment already exists.
No Treatment Control Group: Receives no treatment at all, which can be used when the natural progression of the disease or condition is well understood and withholding treatment doesn't pose ethical issues.
Yeah, where in that study did they present a control group? I didnt see one, but I might have missed it. How many werenin the control group if there was one?
BY DEFINITION, a control group is all the people who DIDN'T 'take the medicine'.
So when this study says that 'among those that didn't take the vaxx', there were ZERO kids who got myocarditis or pericarditis -- THAT is the control group.
If you disagree, please tell me what the criteria of 'being in a control group' would be? (Hint: It's 'not taking the vaxx'.)
Yeah, thats not how it works. It isnt. The control subjects are known and evaluated to present a "baseline group not presented the thing being monitored or studied". Just saying "everyone else is the control". No, sorry, thats not a control group fren. It isnt.
You say that a control group is 'known and evaluated'. All those who did not take the vaxx are 'known' (they didn't take the vaxx), and have been 'evaluated' (they don't have heart problems). Therefore, they are known to 'not present with the thing being monitored or studied'. What more do you need?
So, using your own words, all the kids who don't currently have heart problems are a control group. Unless, of course, you want to claim that they used to have heart problems, and they went away.
I don't understand 'there is no control'.
The 'control' group is made up of the kids that did NOT get vaxxed.
What other type of 'control' is there?
They were supposed to get a placebo shot, according to the so called experts.

Using your own definition...
