When Trump got shot, I initially thought they killed President Trump. I was at Minigolf with my kids. I went into Fight or Flight mode. I grabbed my kids and took them home. I loaded all my guns. And I basically stood as a sentry at my front door in my own home.

Do you shoot guns? Okay, I'm a pretty good shot. I'm a former Marine. An AR-15 at 140 yards is pretty much a potshot. It's an easy shot. It is shocking he is alive. It's a genuine miracle that he's alive.

Exactly, I've been kind of "okayish" on JD Vance, but I am really liking this interview so far. No way Pence could have done this interview though.

I agree. I didn't know much about Vance before. Seems like such a regular guy, while also being ultra-smart and successful. A good role model and perhaps a future torch bearer. We shall see how he actually does.

At one point, I thought Pence was a good guy too. 🤦🏻‍♂️

So, I've been a Vance fan since reading his book Hillbilly Elegy years ago. Honestly, I was holding out for Byron Donalds as a Trump VP pick this time around...but Byron has a lot of successful years ahead of him (I think) and Vance is doing a great job so far, so yeah...I'm on board.
