Not for nothing- I live here and we get these SAME storms every year- they just called it the meanest names this year- and the same people that lose power EVERY year have lost power this year-the same streets had trees downed and blocking as every year

It's been sprinkling all day in the Sierras and they call it a bomb cyclone.
I lived there for 15 years. 500000 with no power is nothing I saw! There was a single lightning storm around maybe 2018? No one knew what to think there. Power was out for me for 3 days. Not my neighbors though
Bombogenesis Cyclone.. they just like to refer it as Bomb Cyclone for the usual reasons. Get some rough days in WA every year, always have. I remember as a kid once we were holding our jackets out cuz the wind was making us zoom backwards faster than our lil feet could keep us up, for fun. Another time we had an old torn up parachute that we were using to jump off the roof with because the wind would jet us back then down a lil rough but, no harm done.... glad parents didnt see us doing that lolol.
...and it's moving across the US.
If we all go outside and start blowing to the East, do you think it will make to to the east coast and relieve them of their drought?

Not to be specific but, we were in that storm in WA and never lost power or nothin, have some pinecones, leaves and a few small branches in the yard but, that is it. Stay safe out there, last weeks wind storm hit our spot harder, even lost power for like an hour and my chairs out back kinda went for a walk about so had to gather them up in the morning. Fall storms can be harsh, unlike spring ones.. its cold outside when the electricity goes out. burrrr
This is due Friday. The eye is still about 300 miles off of the coast.

Same here, most severe winds hit mainly from Tacoma north. Worst for me is I just cleared the leaves out of my yard, all back but from the tree east of me! Mid to southern OR hit where it came on shore.
Bring me some snow would ya. Getting a bit tonight/tomorrow but weve been in a snow drought for the last 4 or 5 years here in SE Michigan. Seems like we get one big early storm then nothing the rest of the winter. (last years was about a month early on Halloween. We had 5 or 7 inches on the ground for the kids.)
I do snow removal. Snow is like money falling from the sky.
