People who have never had any affiliation with the government, like military, civil service or contractor... Other... Will be blown away at the enormity of the government in every sense of this word. I have a vague idea. I'm sure some people fairly high up will be very surprised.

I always wondered as a kid why things like this didn't exist before. Politicians always spoke of transparency, yet they never tell you what is in a bill or what they're spending money on. The thought of having a monthly "town hall" in which we all get together in a football stadium and get our governor/representatives to explain what bills were coming up and what those bills said was always a dream of mine.
