We pay people to be "lawmakers." In reality we are paying them to be our prison guards.
This.
Same with all the goddamn laws on the corrupt books now.
To think they used to say 20k pages was way too much.
Make Automobiles Affordable Again
Yes, this. Few people realize just how much of the cost of a new automobile goes into a maze of "safety" features that may or may not do much to improve safety. Not to mention a wildly complex computer-controlled "emission control system" that can't be diagnosd without specialized equipment and will likely cost you a week's salary to fix when one of its many components gives up the ghost.
How else can you get US corporations to outsource?
Also known as stealing. This is a giant chokchain around free market pricing. Example, healthcare. No, none, nada, you cannot get clear and simple pricing on medical procedures or cost. My band aid in the ER was eight dollars. For a bandaid. Note this was 15 years ago. Now???
“Regulate me harder, daddy!”
"Stregulation", then.
I imagine there is an entire section of government created by this with its own building and budget just to enforce those mattress and pillow tags.
I am obviously being facetious... or am i?
Ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
