I figured if it didn't work, Amazon would take it back & if I couldn't return it for some reason I was only out the $25ish it cost me at the time on sale & I would chalk the loss up to a life lesson.
I was cheap. Got the 120 model that only did rears (wife hated it). $31.19 today.

The 180 model is currently $36.99 today and is amazing for gentle lady bits & rears that need a good cleaning with two pressure settings.

Best investment I have made. I got one for every family we visit frequently & they had no problem with me installing it on their toilets.
Luxe has been pretty amazing & sent extra parts when my father installed his wrong & threw away the part to hook it up to the tank for free. This has been a solid company from my experience.
I picked one up (the 120) just before Covid was released to try it out at a friend's suggestion. I am glad that I took the advice to look for a model under $100, Luxe has been amazing.
That said, it is water from your cold line that will hit you (ie the same line going to your toilet tank). If you want to send hundreds or thousands of dollars, then you better expect it to heat up & probably sing a song while it cleans you.
Also I live in an area with amazing water pressure, so I don't know how it does with a water tank only 20ish ft above your home if you live in a high rise on the top floor.
It did well enough when I used it in Branson, MO while visiting. Just had the maintenance guy install it in about 10 min & then they uninstalled it when our trip was done. Though it was not quite the 90s super soaker over pumped stream I am used to from pressure in Utah, it still worked well.
No choice but to use the ancient Indian wisdom, kek
Dad: Which hand do you wipe with?
Child me: Proud to know the answer I shout "This one!"
Dad: Wow, I wipe with toilet paper. That's nasty.
Child Me: <suprised pikachu>
Is this a wipe your ass with your bare hand thing?
I opted for a bidet...
corn cob

I will never be able to make my pork steaks and creamed corn without thinking about your contribution.... KEK

Whats the deal with buying a bidet? Do they offer any 'try before you buy' options? Is there a fully functioning demonstration unit in the showroom?
For such a big investment, there deinitely should be.
