Are car size drones really causing havoc in the airspace over New Jersey? Let's check in with an active pilot who's familiar with the area and knows all the systems. Turns out the answer is no. Are there random sightings? Yes. Are flight operations being impacted across the state? No.

This guy is what I call a logical moron.
There are car sized drones.
I've seen them.
He's acting as if everything is on the up and up and of course there would be NOTAMS, becauseOF COURSE THAT'S THE PROTOCOL!!!111
The mania is due to the fact that they refuse to say where they are coming from and who's controlling them.
It's not specifically the sightings that's causing it.
I think what the moron is pointing out is that either they have faa authorization or are flying under their radar and so not a threat. I think number one and this is prep for mass deportations in nyc.

None of that changes the truth of what he said

Nice to hear a grounded opinion of what's going on...
Also this. It's pretty creepy and concerning that we don't know what they are

This reminds me of the Hunger Games and how the people were surveilled by drones. The story, including the governor’s nonchalant attitude about the drones is gaining attention. I think it’s part of the scare event & a war going hot. I bet we will all be watching the skies.
"It's pretty creepy and concerning that we don't know what they are"
And yet eveyone keeps calling them "drones," as if we do know.
Most of these "drones" are flying under 1000 feet. Are some of these being misidentified? Absolutely!! More people are now looking up and seeing nav lights on planes and saying "that's a drone OMG!!" when it's just a UAL heading into EWR. Trying to logically figure out what's going on is the correct step. But the fact is the up tick is massive not just in NJ but worldwide.
Totally unrelated to NJ, last week I saw two passenger jets flying pretty close together at about 20-30k, the first jet had a triangle delta formation of ufos right behind it (small bright reflective objects.) The second plane also had a few trailing that weren't in a formation. By the time I got my phone out they were pretty far away, but could clearly see the planes and bright dots in some photos I took. This was a bright clear day up in the mountains, blue sky and watched them traverse the entire sky. These were definitely not drones. WA state near St. Helens.
so you're saying it's Open Season on Drones?
I mean if you don't get cause doing it who's to say, right?
Good find!
