You are ignoring the very long history of the USA attempting to annex or otherwise encourage Canada to join the States, going back all the way to the Articles of Confederation as well as the American Revolutionary War.
Perhaps the liberal Canadian count is overblown? Removing Dominion, and having Trudeau wake up those on the fence to the corrupting of government overreach, can save Canada.
They'll never be true Americans though, just look at their personal views on guns. A few fun advocates do not replace the millions who seemingly don't understand the notion that suddenly the 2nd Amendment is worthy of fighting for. We'd need citizens to defend the US Constitution, not see it as some new thing that schools will now teach, and nothing more.
BC, Ontario and Quebec would probably go their own way in any case and thats ok by me. That is where the stupidity is centered. But I wouldnt have an issue with Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the Maritimes. The values of the people in those provinces more closely align with our own and all of them have at some point had those advocating for Union.
Dont know anything really about Labrador and the territories. Not much up there.
Interesting fact about Canada is that 90% of the population is within 100 miles of the border.
Depends on how Canada would be broken up - 1 state or multiple states. Each one would have 2 senators and at least 1 representative based on population. If it became 10 states, then 20 new US Senators would be created. How many would be blue?
Guess some of ya'll haven't been around long enough to know about the North American Union plan.

And why would we want that? After their crazy immigration rush and tons of liberals, it's forever fuck our elections

We have a total of 35 million citizens that. We can't fuck your elections, at all
Plus You guys gave up your guns to a tyrannical government.
That's a mental condition I don't want here.

Doesn't make it right, though....history or not.
