In California, maybe other states, they take blood sample of newborns for “screening”. You can deny this screening and if you didn’t, you can request the samples are destroyed. Who knows if they actually do this, but you can request this. A lot to keep track of, including saying no to the Hep B vaccine.

I gave birth in 1987 and was knocked out because my son had a big head. I specifically said i wanted the placenta. I didn't get it because the doctor said it was gray and they had to send it to the lab. I never got any results. Probably went into someone's shampoo

No I do not. I know many people working in hospitals but I don't have anyone working in Labor & Delivery. NICU is the closest they work in.
