The American flag is because of US Army / Lebanese Army meetings. US Army supplies Lebanese Army with outdated equipment and prevents the Lebanese Army from acquiring anything that may allow it to form an effective deterrent vs Israel.
New President met with Hezbollah Members of Parliament before they elected him and he couldn't have been elected if not for their votes. Also, the Lebanese Army does not have the capability to disarm Hezbollah (which is a self-defense group by the people, for the people, 100x stronger than the Lebanese Army). Forcibly disarming Hezbollah is an Israeli (& puppets) dream. Any attempts to do so would throw the country in a civil war.
Also, FYI, per convention in Lebanon, the President is always a Maronite Christian. The PM is a Sunni Muslim. The Speaker of the Parliament is a Shia Muslim.
Hezbollah emerged as a resistance movement when Israel was occupying a large amount of territory in Lebanon. It fought the Israeli forces and kicked them out of Lebanon (Israel still occupies a few areas).
Many of these groups were actively colluding with Israel! They use their indoctrinated youth, while they enriched themselves! The bottom was divided, the top created this division to make money! Wars are planned and those at the top of both sides, come out winning! Don't believe me; question how did the Axis countries have cutting edge tech while the allies are turning into banana republics? This only make sense if this was by design! America was not devastated during WW2 so how comes Germany, Japan, etc which were laid to waste have become more advanced than America?

Hezbollah are the only ones that can stop Israel from overunning Lebanon, they have more personnel and equipment that the regular Lebanese army.
