Whoa there....slow down with this problem solving. There's a highly paid commission working on that.
I’ll bet a majority of the lost structures had a swimming pool holding between 10,000 and 50,000 gallons.
At least one homeowner saved his house by pumping out his pool to keep it too wet to burn.
But what you stumbled on and are missing is "WATCH THE WATER". You are correct ALL that Water and yet Fire.... Desalination is very easy these days so why is it not done?? It solves all the problems. Much like Big Pharma holds all the Medicine Cards. Who or What holds the WATER cards...Is it the KEY???
Serious question: can you pump seawater through firefighting equipment?
The super scoopers can use salt and fresh water...the rest can't...last I heard a couple days ago they had access to at least a couple of the super scoopers, although one was beat to shit by that drone
That sounds about right. I don't think you can pump ocean water through fire trucks. Why these 20MM dollar homes didn't have fire suppression systems on them is beyond me.
What I don't understand is why a house that costs 20 million dollars isn't fire proof?
But but sea water is destructive because salt corrodes!! 11!
A quote of an actual, real life rebuttal I incurred, just for you.
You are making it too easy.
The issue with ocean water is when you dump salt water on fertile land it actually makes infertile if I'm not mistaken. But I like the meme nonetheless
You'd have to spray tons of salt water to really saturate the ground, otherwise it's not worse really than the salt that gets on the sides of roads and driveways in winter. Also why would you be covering farmland in seawater anyway when we're talking about saving structures?
Fertile land and in L.A.?
Isn't that an oxymoron......
Honestly idk what salt water does to a city environment.
Well, we're living in an IDIOCRACY. I'm surprised they didn't tell us to use BRAWNDO.
put the arrows also showing the fresh water flowing into the ocean
So if we can manipulate weather and use cloud seeding to make it rain or snow, why haven't we done this to stop these fires? Oh that's right, silly me they don't want the fires stopped!
