"Forest management" used to be done by logging companies. Trees were a commodity. They were "farmed." A section would be cut, burned, and replanted. The trees were sold.
Yeah just look at Canada. West Coast (BC) started doing stupid anti-logging shit and forest fires have gotten worse and bigger to the point they affect the entire countries air quality.
East Coast (New Brunswick) doesn't have this problem. Yeah forest fires happen, none of which are newsworthy in the rest of Canada because they haven't done anti-logging activity.
The thing is in areas like California with hotter dryer climates the burns are needed to regenerate the land to simulate the natural cycle. So you go in log the trees and burn the scrub, and the burn stimulates the seed growth and fertilizes the ground (slash and burn) so you get fast healthy growth which will be fire resistant for years.
Majority of wood land is Govt owned in Canada, so they have full control over who cuts what and where. There's no excuse for forest fires here, which is why we're only seeing them in a big way in our libtarded shithole of wanna-be California.

Why should my tax dollars support your state's refusal to implement fair elections? It is up to you, the voters, to get the deep state out of your state. Yea, if Trump could do it in a day, get all the corruption out of the Cali state legislature, I'd be all in on granting you federal financial relief. But what have the conservatives in the legislature done to expose the corruption there? To me, as an outside observer, it looks like 90% of the state is liberal with no way correcting that. Did your house burn down? I hope not. But rest assured, my initial remarks are pointed to the current leaders in that state and THEY are the ones that need to spend resources to help it's residents instead of providing relief for illegals and trans things. As far as my house burning down as a boomarang effect....rest assured, my local fire department is so inadequate the if my house did catch fire it would burn down to the ground. How do I know that? Because my neighbor's house burned down after getting hit by lightening. His wife was taking a shower at the time and had to run out into the street in a bath robe and watch as her house burned down. The firefighters were spraying a tiny amount of water on the house because we do not have fire hydrants around here. Within an hour a $500K house was ash and the fire department smoked more cigarettes watching the fire than they sprayed water on it. Another neighbor's garage caught fire and I watched as a female fire fighter struggled as she was putting on the PPE equipment. They managed to tamp down the flames within the garage before it spread to the rest of the house. It's just head scratching as to how inept my fire department is when fighting fires. So, if my house burns, I will be out on the street wondering what to do next, just like some of the citizens in your state. Thanks for allowing me to reply.
