After much soul-searching and contemplation, I've decided that I can no longer work for a government that has allowed a fascist like Trump to reside in the White House and a Nazi sympathizer like Elon Musk to lead this so-called "efficiency push." It's with a heavy heart that I tender my resignation and begin the search for a new job, one where I can truly make a difference.
I know this decision may seem selfish, but I assure you, it's not just about me. It's about all of us. How can we, in good conscience, continue to support a system that enables such hatred and bigotry? We must stand together and fight against the oppressive forces that seek to divide us.
I understand that leaving my job may be a privileged move, but I hope my actions will inspire others to take a stand against the injustice we face. We cannot allow ourselves to be complicit in the erosion of our democracy.

Feb 6 is the deadline to resign or stay employed. If staying on, they have some 30 days to actually get their butts to the office. Should be around March 1.
