Had Lyme Disease.
Took Flagyl Ceftin and Biaxin twice a day for almost three years. Did not cure until I ate cannabis brownies everyday for three months.
Had trouble getting antibiotics. Found an older sympathetic veterinarian who ended up supplying my needs. The hardest part is finding a doctor who knows what they are doing.
Search for LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors) Also find info at ILADS. They are legit. Avoid IDSA. They are definitely part of the Clown community.
Get a CD 57 test done as soon as possible. Do the test now and get a baseline. That way, future CD 57 tests can tell you how you are progressing. I did not know about this test when I had Lyme. As such,Herxheimer reactions were the only way I could tell if the meds were working.
Lyme free now for ten years.
Been hearing lately that HCQ and Ivermectin work, but no personal experience with these meds.
If in Canada, some naturopaths in some provinces are able to prescribe antibiotics. Flagyl is very important because it busts up the bacteria's protective coating.
Also, if taking antibiotics long term, diet is EXTREMELY important.
A careless diet with antibiotics can lead to systemic fungal infection that will only make life ten times worse.
No sugar, no starch, no liquor>> (especially with Flagyl contraindicated with alcohol)
Basically a veto diet on steroids.
I also made my own yogurt that must be eaten at least two hours separate from antibiotics. If not, then the antibiotics will go to town on the yogurt bacteria instead of the Lyme bacteria.
Excellent Documentary: Under Our Skin
Right now it feels overwhelming for you, but don't worry. You can beat it.
Over the years, I've given this same advice to several Lyme patients who are now Lyme free.
Best of luck
Indeed. I have a close relative who had it for about 50 years before she died. You can't hate these people enough. At my worst I could never cause them the pain they caused others - but I would be happy to give them a quick exit from our world.
Coworker has Lyme disease he is struggling with it. His farmett is covered in ticks. His land is so infested he can't walk the fields without getting covered in ticks. He tried to stay safe but eventually they got to him. Now I watch every morning to see if he's limping. Bad days are limping days.it means his joints are swollen and he's in great pain. Still a workhorse, on good days or bad he always comes to work.

I'm in agreement with the gist of your comment, although I'm sure I haven't read as much as you. I had some problems that modern medicine calls "conditions"; started looking into old-school ways people managed their health. I read a book about orthomolecular medical treatments of the past and was able to eliminate a couple of conditions that modern doctors will only treat with prescription drugs and never cure. Only recently did I read about terrain theory for the first time, and a lot of things fell in to place. Even in my ignorance, I haven't been sick since 2019, and don't expect to become sick no matter the shape of others I'm around. I'm in my early 70s and in better shape than anyone I know my age.
I've been living with Lyme since 2009. Sucks.
Justice needs to be done.

Are you doing any type of detox?

It's ABSOLUTELY NO COINCIDENCE that Lyme, CT is the closest landfall to Plum Island...

How does terrain theory explain contagious disease?
