There were 3 on board. Pilot, co-pilot, and crew chief. Only the co-pilot and crew chief have been released. The only available info so far: female with 500 hours of flight time. Speculation that "she" is a tranny or other DEI hire.

I'm skeptical, actually. The article attached states first female Blackhawk pilot (1st Lt) in 2014. There's no way this woman only had around 500 hrs accumulated in 10 yrs. Something's not mathin' up...
And just what aircraft did she log the 500 hrs in?
I’ve got 600 hrs of flight time…in a hang glider.
A training helicopter and then the Blackhawk. 500 hours is often called the danger point. The pilot thinks that they got this, but they have a bigger tendency to screw up when things go to shit.
That corridor is probably hard and fast for helicopters and she was on her check ride (significant extra pressure). The right answer was to hang a left over the houses and violate the corridor. With a possible check ride failure. But everyone would still be alive.

They don't have to beg the Army to keep her name a secret. If the family doesn't want the name put out, DOD usually complies.

Since many civilians were killed, I would think it's necessary though I am OK with giving the family 30 days of supposed privacy.
Found an article in the Washington Post about her. Seems she grew up in a Christian home, and believed in Jesus, a quote "And I literally started praying, Jesus, please just let me get down on this ground safely, and I promise you I won't be anxious to take off next time" My feelings about her have changed, now I am praying for her family that God gives them His peace, during their time mourning. Now, I understand why President Trump is honoring their request for privacy.
