No. Not yet. I think it was probably a rumor to get people to watch this stuff. It's boring. Football is so SLOW. I prefer something that moves faster like hockey or basketball. I also find baseball more interesting. This just drags and drags.
There was no way I was going to start watching NFL again so I didn't watch it. I figured the Elon commercials would be on X afterward. I even found the superbowl commercials on youtube the other day so my wife could watch them.
No he didn't but I can't blame him. That's a ridiculous amount of money for just a few minutes of broadcast time.
The only thing I learned was football is a very boring sport. So SLOW compared to hockey or basketball.where the score can change dramatically in minutes making it exciting. This just dragged on and on.
Then some rapper did rap for the half time show. I hate rap -- but I'm a boomer and reached adulthood when music was music. There was melody and you could dance to things. This was some guy mumbling rap.while people rolled on the floor or stomped around. Not much talent as far as I could see --.oh how I wish.they'd have dug up some old school classic rock band to play for the event.
They say it had.meaning -- maybe it did. But there was no talent evident. And I didn't find it entertaining.
I don't know that "meaning" is all that "meaningful" if 99% of the people don't understand it anyway.
Well my husband was rooting for the team that won so I guess from his perspective it wasn't a total loss.
I'll take basketball, hockey, or baseball over football any day of the week. I was so bored.
I'm gen X, but my favorite all-time superbowl halftime show was when Prince did it. I don't think any will ever top that show. He played multiple genres of his music, had the HBCU Florida A&M marching band doing their high-stepping and dance moves, hundreds of young people dancing on the field around the stage, and of course he ended with Purple Rain and the audience singing along. The shadow effect with him playing his Purple Rain guitar behind the big blowing tarp was classic Prince.
The rain could've been a disaster with the puddles on the stage, but it fit perfectly with Purple Rain.
Here's a pretty decent (for a change) wikipedia article on that halftime show. The show is widely considered the best ever and the article captures that.
Just watch them tomorrow as clips. Elon would most likely release them anyway after the fraud bowl.dont give them the ratings
President Trump is there in person. If it's good enough for him it's good enough for me to give them ratings.
This is the first time in my life I have ever actually watched the Superbowl, I don't really care about football.
Heard it was from a parody and not real. Don’t subject yourself to that crap if you don’t want to
Me too. I’m waiting for the commercials from Elon.
Be sure to let us know his content - am traveling today and unable to watch, which if I was, would only be for the reason you gave!
You know that things are recorded these days right?
I don’t think the commercial thing was real, but I hope I’m wrong.
Maybe half time?
I didn’t watch it, did he have any ads?

Indian Call Center Rep #1: Did the Yankees win the Superbowl?
Indian Call Center Rep #2: Listen to me ! Our God Shiva is superior to your Superb Owl!

I guess Elon didn't make the commercials.

Haha yeah brother same here. Elon's commercials and Trump himself being there have me watching the Superbowl for the first time in my life.
