I don't think the hotel owners are responsible at all.. The responsible party is the people facilitating these payments, i.e congress and NGOs.
You could maybe argue hotels were taking advantage of the situation, but no way are they liable for this.
Who opened the borders? Who encouraged illegals to come? Who is shipping illegals all over the country? Who is giving away all our tax dollars to illegals? The answer to those questions are who needs their assets seized. Those are the people that belong in jail.
It's fair to take their POV in a debate but there is a history of opportunism within the Ownership of these places. There is often a foreign element of ownership who couldn't care less about American Tax payers.
