With that said, if you marry a women with children, you now have stepchildren and knew what you were getting into as I did. I had 2 from previous marriage and she had 3. We accepted that and are very happy. Our children are grown and consider each other brother and sisters and I'd have it no other way as we're a happy family.
The problem is, there is a financial incentive to try to "trap" a guy by getting knocked up. Look, if you're married and the guy leaves, that's one thing. But if you're not married and you get knocked up without the guys consent, then you can deal with the consequences.
I don't think the debate should be about whether it's "his" or not, we need to stop with this insanity of rewarding women for getting pregnant and using it as an 18 year pay day. No two party consent, no money, problem solved.
Maybe sign contracts pre-sex saying if you get pregnant you will not hold <insert male's name> responsible financially, emotionally, or any other way. See how quickly they shut the legs.
Every day Grok should delete the profiles of people posting the stupidest comments. Then we might start seeing people thinking more before they comment. I also blame the podcasts, these people are often yammering about nothing just to fill up time. The quality of conversation is in free fall. IMHO.
