It's time to think about these things. What's legal, what works, what should be remedied during these times of extraordinary maneuvers on both sides. Then we should actually teach how government is supposed to work in our schools.

the supreme court is the branch of the government that can be a check/balance for the executive branch.

And maybe require members of the Judiciary, Legislative, and Executive branches take and pass a civics test periodically.
