Its a long story but the upshot - Blake tried to use #metoo to intimidate Baldoni (who purchased the rights for the book with his own money and then started the movie as producer and director) into giving away control of his own movie to her.
Baldoni luckily had all the receipts. He had the video with audio of the scene where she accused him of sexual harassment and he had text messages from her where she said Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift were her Dragons and she is Khalisi from the Game of Thrones.
So he counter sued her for defamation and Taylor Swift quickly tried to wash her hands from her (They have been besties for a decade or so)
The whole thing is now going to unravel the entire #metoo "always believe her" crap, bring down Taylor Swift and her media narrative driving, potentially ensnaring judges, etc.
Amber Heard vs JohnyDepp was a redpill and it proved that she was lying but Depp himself was pretty crazy so it didnt have the impact we needed.
