HERE’S HOW: NSA Mike Waltz ‘Accidentally’ Leaked the Messages – Here’s What It Means for Him - Red State Nation
National Security Adviser Mike Waltz just landed in hot water after a colossal blunder that’s got Trump supporters demanding answers—and some calling for his head. Jeffrey Goldberg, the virulently anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claims he was a...

I am feeling Julien Assange vibes with this trap ???
Here's an idea, don't use public messaging apps for classified intel.
As far as I know there wasn't anything classified that was discussed, that's just Jeffrey Goldberg putting his spin on it.
Yeah I'm trying to find any specifics, but so far nothing concrete.
Peter Doocy said they were getting early reports that a staffer who was supposed to be in the chat had the Atlantic editor's number saved as one of their secondary numbers, i.e., work-home-cell phone fields.
So this seems deliberate if that reporting is true. There are still a lot of people, from Deep Staters, never Trumpers, and TDS sufferers who wish to derail Trump and his agenda within the government, so it would track.
Set a honey pot and see who shows up, and see who reports what. My theory is that this was a set up.
I'm invoking the Bongino rule on this one. There are a lot reasons this event happened, and we have little to no insight on this one.
Explanations:
I have not seen anything to support there being classified in the text. One would have to willfully do this by transmitting information from the high side (classified) to the low side (unclassified) and either cut and paste it or attach a document into the Signal chat.
Could have been purposeful to further press Europe and let the know that they are on thin ice. Seems very blunt in that Europe hasn't stepped up enough to keep peace in their own part of the world.
Sound plausible.
what I don't understand about all this is why the top echelons of government that are in the top levels of security are using a commercially available app that is probably storing the data (texts) of these conversations on a sever somewhere. they all have government issued cell phones, right? make them use a government clone of such an app, one that does not have access to private phone numbers, just ones in the system...
Trump says it was one of the 'staff'. Here's a selection of them

Thank you, I was wondering what this was all about
