In 1938, this grand piano was presented to President Franklin D. Roosevelt for the White House by the Steinway family. It’s the 300,000th Steinway, a mahogany showcase with gilded eagles.
@KidRock
now joins history with many musicians who have played before him like Duke Ellington, BB King and Presidents Nixon & Truman
@WhiteHouse
Nope, hes doing his own song called 'All Summer Long" that reminices about what most Michigan people do about spending time 'Up North" as young adults/adolescents. It borrows from Warren Zevons 'Werewolves of London" in the opening and Skynyrds "Sweet Home Alabama' throughout.
If youve never heard the song its one of his best. This one gets shit loads of air time on just about every radio station in Michigan regardless of format. Most of us can relate.
Still do it. I have a cottage on Torch Lake and 140 acres outside Mancelona. Im up there year round from the Trout opener through snowmobiling. My brothers and sister and I also still own my Grandpas land and house that he was born in in the 1890s in Calumet. But thats a long ass drive (a hair under 600 miles, its only 400 for me to drive to Washington,DC) and the water is really freaking cold so usually a once per year hunting/salmon or snowmobiling trip.
Bet they didn’t imagine a character like Kid would be playing it. I’m not being negative, I listen to him & saw him once in concert. Just saying back then a rough around the edges type wouldn’t have to opportunity.
Make sure every libshit you know sees this video, as I remember damn well how hard they pushed the video of fatass lizzo playing Benjamin franklins flute.

Kid Rock has class and talent.
Thought same.

Now THAT is a piano. What a great moment for kid. Not too shabby; select contemporary entertainer people enjoying invites to The White House.
My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiid. Rocccccck!
Anyone know the tune?
All Summer Long.
It's pretty much a mashup of Werewolves of London, Sweet Home Alabama and Night Moves.
I should have caught that. Thanks.
I think he is doing an Instrumental variation of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qae25976UgA
Love my werewolves.

He's no pianist, though.
