Can't think of even one time Trump could be labeled dense. I also remember him saying at a rally that someday warp speed would be understood. I do believe he was planting the seeds of a narrative, outsized ego and all (I do not believe that compassionate man is a narcissist or has an "outsized" ego. He knows who he is and understood the pandemic and the actors involved)
I finally had time to watch the video. The most important part of the video isn’t what John Rich said, or his impression of President Trump’s reaction.
The most important part is President Trump arranged for a certain group of people to be around that table. And, he asked the person he knew would answer with the unvarnished truth.
And, yes I’m biased, but I believe POTUS only asks questions when he already knows the answer. He wasn’t shocked by the answer, it was the answer he knew he would hear and wanted the other people around the table to hear.
I mean think about it...if you (meaning anyone) were as gifted and smart and rich as Trump, and powerful and nearly always right, and the most popular person on earth,...wouldn't you necessarily have a strong sense of self and healthy ego? How could you not? How could you walk around thinking "I'm just an ordinary average run-of-the-mill everyday regular guy"?
Trump is confident; Biden is arrogant. Biden has never done anything worthwhile, while Trump has never let the grass grow under his feet. Trump was faulted for playing golf, but Biden slept on the beach most of the time. Crickets.

Yes. I agree. A narrative begun.
A who can I trust to tell me the truth moment.

Agree
Exactly!
