I remember growing up people didnt want the crap, then thats all there was to buy. Some saying about, "made in japan from a burgy can"? IDK something like that

I am from Europe and I strongly disagree.
I mean they basically have or do. Europe has been under armed American occupation since 1942-1945 and the zone of occupation has expanded since 1997.

If someone is reading the NY Times, or quotes their reporting as fact... then they are hopelessly brainwashed. Works every time. I won't waste my time with NY Times readers.

It reminds me of the NYT trying to debunk RFK about Fruit loops. Basically they're debunking by stating what happens. Kind of like controlled opposition but working for us.

on a motorcycle forum, there where a couple guys from the UK on there. I asked if the stuff they buy is all made in China? they said No.
Japanese bikes are very popular here but when I was a young man the Chinese Honda clones were popular. They used to come in a pallet and you had to build them from scratch. I built several for people. They lasted surprisingly well actually but a bunch of stuff they came with was shit and you would replace them with Japanese or Western made parts over time. It was a cheap way to get on the road and have an on going project.
I don't know if its still a thing these days. I haven't been on a bike for 15 years.
