Copeland is as demon possessed as Benny Hinn and that's saying something. Saw a reporter interview Copeland at an Airport hanger where he justifies his need for multiple airplanes.
In my view almost all the big TV preachers are crooks, and I'm not afraid to call out the bad ones when I see them. I have been confronted in real life with the fake preachers who aren't on TV.
The last one is ripping off my wife's cousin and her husband, I'll spare you the details, but God gave me a sign I just could not ignore. I did a random bible online tool that gives you a random book and chapter to read and I was given Thes 2 Chapter 3 then the following week I got the same exact book and chapter. I calculated the odds of getting that same results twice in a row to 1.4 million to 1.
That was a very strong signal to stay away from that Church the Church has a small congregation yet the pastor and his wife with 10 kids don't work yet live in the most exclusive area of Nashville, they are middle aged.... There's a lot of other things I noticed but you get the idea.
It's my view that Trump is new to Christianity and doesn't have good discernment about such things. Jesus said many false pastors would come along, He didn't say a few...
God has allowed His people to get a glimpse of the Devil. EXACTLY what he looks like. President Trump has forgotten about "making a deal with the devil", and maybe Franklin Graham can whisper in the President 's ear, too remind him.
Copeland's real issue is here: It's all about claiming that Jesus had to be born again so we can be. He also denies that when Jesus cried, "It Is finished!", He was claiming the end of the payment of sin, contrary to a whole slew of Scripture.
This is something he has been teaching long before he became 'wacky for the Jews,' He was wacky for E.W. Kenyon's born-again Jesus heresy long before he had any interest in the Jews or Israel.
If you are interested in a more detailed account of Copeland, Hagin, and Kenyon's heresy, D.R. McConnell's book , A Different Gospel, will describe the reasons why what they say is heretical, and from the Scripture.
This whole 'born-again Jesus ' heresy is actually a deep departure from the Israelite origins of our faith, and a denial that Jesus was the spotless lamb of God who took away the wrath we justly deserved for our sin. Copeland essentially claims it was the Devil who was paid off to leave us alone, and that He (Jesus) took on Satan's nature.
McConnell explains how this is a departure from the Hebrew roots of our faith, and how both the Old and New Testaments describe the atonement as a sacrifice for sin, regarded as innocent and holy, not sin itself.
I agree Kenneth Copeland is a dramatic and very strange old bird. But last time I checked, having crazy eyes and being obscenely rich wasn't grounds for exorcism.
Not that there is anything wrong with being wealthy but I have serious qualms about someone getting rich from "preaching." I preach here and there because I like it and would never expect to get wealthy from it. And if I did I know about 500 people that could use some help financially. Yet here's this clown in a fancy suit yelling and screaming for more money. Let's see...does this pass the litmus test for scriptural conduct and legitimacy. Nope.
And I doubt that Copeland has renounced the Born - Again Jesus heresy, either. This really for me gets the flashing red light in regard to Trump, the man really needs someone to teach him some discernment!
Everyone should read II Peter (only 3 chapters) when faced with people who they doubt. If you doubt a person who is right you will increase your trust in them if you doubt someone who turns out to be wrong you will have saved yourself and others from torment.
DJT is steeped in the same "Power of Positive Thinking" roots as all the name-it-and-claim-it prosperity gospel grifters. Also why he appointed that Paula White lady for the faith advisor role.

I concur!

Brother Copeland long ago went wacky for Jews . It’s all about Israel !

Hard to believe we are this far in and you still forget the pattern.
Trump pushes evil into the light to expose it. It's really that simple

agreed! (Cunningly devised fables, indeed!)
would you consider heresy one?

Maybe DJT is trying to save his soul? "I did not come here to save the faithful, I came to save the wicked"
