I had a long discussion with Grok about this. The name "Jesus" is not even close to the Son of God's real name. It is a fascinating dig. The name of the Son and the name of the Father is the same with only 1 consonant added. The name of then Son and "Joshua's" real name are the same as well.
Many in my family are JW's and they get so mad when I share with them the fact that it is 100% impossible the God's name to be Jehovah.
Anyway. It is a fun dig. Names were VERY IMPORTANT in ancient languages. They carried so much meaning. All lost in translations.
It's very odd to me that people insist on calling him Jesus instead of Joshua. We all know that in English, it's Joshua. Pronounce it like a Y and you have something closer to what his mother called him.
