All my personal opinion. I love Canadian people. I loved fishing in Canada. Friendliest people in the world!
If I offended you, we'll get over it, just like good family and friends always do.
It's true. That's why I voted PPC last two elections, but no candidate in my riding this time. Canada might as well be over.

The People of Canada have every right to take control of their country and throw all of the corrupt politicians out of office.
I've never been more proud of Canada than I was during the Great Trucker Protest. Still brings a tear to my eye thinking of the little kids calling in on CB radios to thank the drivers and say goodnight.
When the tractors skirted the road blocks to bring resources to the truckers, I saw a willpower by Canadians I was not expecting.
When the tractors were halted and I saw Canadian men and women riding in on horseback to deliver the needed resources, I saw an unbridled destiny riding across the fields.
That SPIRIT is within you all. And We the People of the United States are with We The People of Canada. Never forget that.

The Americans (sadly) seem to believe that they are the only ones to espouse true Conservative values. While I'd agree that the majority of "conservatives" in Canada are "small c" conservatives, and that the Conservative party is (at best leftist light), there are still MANY of us (even in the EAST) that hold true Conservative views and values.
The past 10 years of psuedo-communism were finally causing those who voted Liberal (thinking they were the centrist party of old) to begin challenging old assumptions and looking at the Covid+ era in Canada as the harsh reality that it is.
We have a (for all intents and purposes) gagged and silenced true Conservative leader on the political scene. "Mad" Max Bernier who's PPC party has a common sense, non-radical, down to basics policy platform that SHOULD resonate with true Conservatives. Canadians won't give him the time of day, he's invisible to the Canadian Media and banned from public debate.
He has been making the rounds on US social media, very little of that exists here in Canada to be leveraged. The guys a true adult, calm, measured, and well versed on the complex issues of immigration, economy, liberty etc.
As a true blue Trump supporter (his policy focus & his sincere attempt to break the back of the corruption monopolies that run all of our lives) my only fear was that his nobility would succumb to his ego. I fear, my fear has now come true.
I just cant square this circle, 5D chess aside. I admire the USA and I like and respect almost all Americans that I have had the good fortune to meet in my many years of working in Canada for US multi-nationals.
In many ways I wish Canada was more like the USA, more like, not absolutely the same as.
I feel Trump fucked up and empowered the exact douchebag regime and thinking that he preaches to fight.
Maybe his ego caused him to overplay this hand, maybe he does want to eat us for lunch.
Empowering the Libs might be his strategy to allow Canada to self destruct and then he'll acquire us for pennies on the dollar at the fire sale.
I was hoping that the pre-Trump fuck-up Conservative landslide that was emerging, would allow the more Conservatives of us to finally vote PPC and gain them a foothold in parliament. I'd love to see Maxime Bernier, call out the fake "small c" conservatives everyday. Maybe that way more Canadians will truly understand what it means to be a real Conservative.
I'm old, and settled, I can probably ride out 4-5 more years of the giant shit sandwich that is coming our way, regardless of who wins tonight.
And I'll own my piece of contributing to the mess we are in (sadly I was a brainwashed Liberal in my younger years).
But at least this time around, I said FUCK IT, I'm voting PPC, I'll eat the shit sandwich if I have to.

He has gifted the Libs a powerful Victim-hood status, that they are taking to the bank for this election. If the proposal was made as a Future Partnership and the 2 Nations working as one, it would have been received with an open minds in Canada.

They like their healthcare. IT's all bad like ours, but they don't pay for it like we have to! So what about that? NOT ONE WORD ON THE HEALTHCARE!
Imagine if it happened and they all forgot....and began to receive premiums, deductibles and copays....they have NEVER HAD.
i cannot be the only one remembering this HUGE fact of Canada. Trump has too. But not a word. No outsider has a right to bamboozle a country into something not thought out. I have posted on Truth Social all about it....and still crickets. This is not a healthcare debate. This is about becoming a state with very big differences creating a 'standard' of living. All the healthcare is shitty for profit. Imagine not having to pay for it? Now, what happens to Canada in this situation? It's a valid question only I have been asking. Weird. Canadians don't think to question this, it's the furthest from their minds, all of their lives. They have never had to think or debate about their plans, switch to get screwed....out of network scams in hospitals....no, never thought about it. So they are naturally not, now.
I want to hear Trump on the healthcare situation in Canada IF they become a ridiculous 51st state.
Our healthcare is broken. We don't treat them any more. We just send them to medically assisted suicide.
That's what my relatives in Canada say too. Suicide is pushed more than life-giving care. Sadly, Canada is really a socialist/communist $hithole up there...with even more outrageous, heavily censored fake news and hockey to distract the population.
FWIW, several of my relatives used to be liberals, but have woken up to the evil. The Truckers protest and closing bank accounts got them riled big time. Unfortunately they also dislike Trump saying their country should become a state so there's that. Lots of love for their own country as crappy as it's become.
It's truly f'ed up North. The CCP (Globalists) controls more than here. It's like Canada is a NWO experiment to see how far it can go with a seemingly tough people.
I now know 3 people who have gone through with MAID, and one more who is trying. It's pretty messed up.
Oh we pay for it alright. With massive taxes. And it completely sucks. If you actually need treatment for something you have to go to the US. They just try to convince you to kill yourself. Hospitals are jam packed with immigrants. They bring their relatives from India to get free healthcare. They tried to use the healthcare system to impose medical tyranny and force lethal injections on anyone who needed to use it. I much would prefer to pay for my own doctor who works for me and keep my tax dollars. Way cheaper and better.
We have massive taxes here and healthcare premiums more than mortgages! And the cares just as shitty.
