Let's say China had for the sake of argument 900m people circa 2019. Let's also post the total global pop at that time was 7 billion ish (rounded down for simplicity).
Now, according to global figures, the total deaths are minimum 7 million and max around 18 million (with the removal of china's false data here). That equates to about 0.1% to 0.3% roughly of global population died due to covid.
Now, let's factor in the new Chinese numbers. If the global (sans China) numbers are 0.3%, with this 400m deaths in China, the real death rate is closer to 6% global population (in like with Q's comment of 4 to 6% forever lost).
But wait there's more!
If this is the actual case that China lost so many people due to covid compared to the rest of the world, then this disease killed 44% of their population in three years. That is a targeted biweapon effect that crushed China like a bug. A Chinese person was 7.5x more likely to die due to covid than any other person. That's fucking unreal.
