Does it help to keep the mosquitoes from biting you or does it kill them after they bite you?
I am a huge attraction for mosquitoes, think it's my blood type, I've always (even as a little kid) got eaten up by them every summer. I'm about tired of it to be honest, lol.
Come to think about it, I've been taking ivermectin for the last few days and not one bite while out gardening π€ I live in the south and as soon as it got warm, they started biting me, but last few days nothing... βonπͺ΅
LOUISIANA HOT SAUCE WORKS WONDERS also...Spread that stuff on everything and NO BITES @ ALL!!!!!!!!!....guess is the capsaicin in the sauce...ππππππππππππππΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈπΆοΈ

Neither. Iver kills the parasites, which the mosquito injects.
So the mosquito is injecting Bill Gates?
Kyekkity
yes
I eat more garlic than the average person, and I usually do not have problems with mosquito bites.
Think vampire :)
Garlic and vitamin b1. Works for our family for mosquitoes but more importantly it seems to help with keeping ticks from latching on.

Is your blood type b+? if it is it might add credibility to blood types. i always get eaten by mosquitoes but my dad, not a touch.
No, I'm O-
O- here too, and I am a mosquito magnet.
well there goes my theory...
I am a very juicy target too. I've found vitamin B complex wards them off very nicely. I think it also keeps ticks from digging in.
