“peace through strength” harkens back to Pres. Reagan’s “peace through strength ‘80s program to counter Communism and end the Soviet Union.
By raising defense & tech spending,’Pres. Reagan put the Soviet Union into a defense and economic battle that they could not keep up with. Gorbachev realized this and began glastnov and perestroika.
This combined with West German “ostpolitik” normalization or warming-up relations with Communist-bloc Europe led to the downfall of the Iron Curtain, the end of the Cold War.
2025 “peace through strength” ends wokeness in the military and preps them for the mission of “the precipice” and taking out the worst of the political, economic and health sector bad actors.

I'm not saying those aren't all good things, but when it's an advertisement for the military I think the seriousness of death and bringing death needs to be emphasized. It's not a time to win a political debate. To even mention those things only makes the resolve of those who believe in them stronger. It's better to leave those things unsaid and be transparent about the actual issues that are being fought about. Except, that seems to be something that our leaders will never be transparent about.
My main point is, I don't think the brain that debates against woke crap is the same one that comes on in a fire fight. I don't know, I just feel it should be more somber and sinister but also respectful.
What I'd really like is for them to say our enemies are those who push those ideologies and that's what we're fighting against. I'd love that day to come.
